    • “Stronger Together” Cancer Support Programs
      • Every patient is offered an on-site massage therapy session while waiting for an appointment or during chemotherapy. Our full schedule of cancer wellness and support services are open to the community—including aerobic fitness classes, such as “Body Sculpt” or Boxing;  Nutrition Classes & Food Demonstrations; Yoga; Meditation; and, access to a series of support groups.  Classes are held virtually.

      • Care Partner Support Group
      • Offered in collaboration with 糖心传媒_糖心vlog_糖心vlog 在线s, this once-monthly support group is designed for family, friends and care partners of people living with Parkinson’s disease. Currently offered via Zoom. For more information: (631) 644-6667.
  • Support group for Alzheimer's Disease
    • The Stony Brook Center of Excellence for Alzheimer's Disease
      • A comprehensive resource for everything related to Alzheimer’s and other dementias, offering expert evalsuation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and community education.
      • Family Caregiver Support: Provides education, counseling, and support services to help caregivers navigate the challenges of caring for a loved one with dementia.
• Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • voluntary, confidential, and comprehensive support resources to enhance the overall well-being and productivity of faculty, staff, and the organization. (631) 632-6085
• Code Lavender
  • This code provides a rapid response to the emotional needs
of staff after unexpected or adverse events. Any employee
can call a silent code (not called overhead) by dialing the operator (3-2-1) and requesting a Code Lavender. A callback number,
the unit and the name of the individual requesting the code is given to the operator, and a responder will return your call. This service is available 24/7. The purpose is to provide psychological, emotional and spiritual support to all staff members depending on the needs of the individual or group of individuals involved.
• Spiritual care hotline: chaplains are available Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm at (631) 559-6211. For more urgent matters, please call the hospital operator and request the chaplain on-call (24/7)
• Hardship fund
  • if you are experiencing a financial emergency, the Hardship Fund is available to all faculty, staff, and students (www.stonybrook.edu/hardshipfund )
